Jim Gardner

Born the only child of a homemaker mother and auto mechanic father, Jim had to find things to do as a child to keep himself entertained. At the very young age of 10, Jim learned how to crochet and taught himself different stitches and techniques over the last 25+ years. He loves how he can turn ordinary yarn into something beautiful and loves to work with as many bright and bold colors in a project as possible. In his teenage years, he enjoyed drawing especially cartoon characters. He also likes to cross stitch and work with plastic canvas projects but his heart is always in his crochet and building his massive yarn stash. He eventually began doing small DIY projects with his father and realized he enjoyed painting especially small wooden décor projects.
He has found his hobbies to be a very cathartic and a huge stress reliever with dealing with a lot of personal loss in recent years. As a life-long resident of Voorhees, you can find him walking around his neighborhood with his loyal Puggle companion and inspiration, Savannah or hanging out with his fellow artist friends. In his free time he is an avid lover of music, movies and animals and just trying to live life to the fullest but feels most alive when he is creating artwork for others to enjoy.
